My scientific interests comprise a wide collection of biological topics. Starting off with developmental biology and neurobiology during my MSc, I moved on to explore cellular pathways in Drosophila during my PhD, before getting excited about evolutionary aspects, ecology, and conservation biology during my first postdoc. With the explosion of sequencing technology, I naturally progressed during my second postdoc to use large genomic datasets to dissect population structure, connectivity, gene flow, adaptation, demography, hybridization, genomic structural variation, and phylogenomic relationships in a range of different species.
