Active learning in the Biology curriculum

The Center for Active Learning is a team of ETH biologists with an interest in efficient teaching methods that supports lecturers in fostering active learning. By developing course designs, learning units, teaching material, and through the evaluation of student participation and electronic exams, we motivate students to actively engage with the Biology curriculum topics, instead of merely passively consume it by frontal teaching. If you're interested in our approach, you can find more information on our homepage: Center for Active Learning (CAL)
